‘UFO’ Object was Indeed Shot Down!

What's it like to witness a UFO being shot down overhead? It feels like a science fiction movie come true. Just a few days ago, people in Weifang, Shandong, experienced it for themselves. By 钱柚子的秋天9-16-2025 On the evening of September 12, 2025, many people were enjoying the cool air on their balconies or preparing to relax when, suddenly, a massive "fireball" appeared in the night sky. This thing wasn't a meteor; it was traveling at an incredibly fast speed, reaching supersonic levels, and its trajectory was erratic, as if it were desperately trying to avoid something. Honestly, if I had seen this, my first reaction would probably have been to quickly find a place ...

First ‘Star Wars: Starfighter’ Behind The Scenes Photo Teased

The first behind-the-scenes photo from Star Wars: Starfighter has been teased by director Shawn Levy, featuring stars Ryan Gosling and Flynn Gray. The photo in question features the two actors standing on some kind of water craft wearing stained and rough clothing, with Gosling leaning on the craft’s steering controls.  According to Shawn Levy’s Instagram post, the photo was taken somewhere in the Mediterranean Sea, off the coast of Sardinia (an island off the coast of Italy). It’s a surprise that the first photo from Star Wars: Starfighter is taking us to an oceanic planet. Most of us likely imagined the first tease of this film would feature Ryan Gosling in the pilot seat of some kind of nimble starfighter, like in the film’s title, but no! It’s not often we see an ocean planet in Sta...

Kirk back from the dead “just in time for him to watch the Starfleet he loved so dearly burn to the ground.” The new ongoing series is being written by the Eisner-nominated duo of Collin Kelly and Jackson Lanzing with art by Adrián Bonilla and colors by Heather Moore. The series features a primary cover by Francesco Francavilla, variant by Skyler Patridge, and a foil variant by Michael Cho. The first issue of The Last Starship arrives in one week, on September 24th. And we have d...

Northrop Grumman cargo ship reaches space Station – Spaceflight Now

Northrop Grumman’s Cygnus XL cargo ship on final approach to the International Space Station early Thursday. Image: NASA Running a day late because of a software issue, Northrop Grumman’s Cygnus XL cargo ship caught up with the International Space Station early Thursday and then stood by while the lab’s robot arm latched onto a grapple fixture to wrap up a successful, if extended, rendezvous. The capture came after Northrop Grumman engineers adjusted the sensitivity of main engine fault detection software that prematurely triggered shut downs during two rendezvous thruster firings Tuesday. As it turned out, the main engine was healthy all along and once the software was adjusted, the spacecraft was able to press ahead with the rendezvous, pulling up to a point just below the station so rob...

NASA, Northrop Grumman postpone Cygnus XL arrival to ISS following propulsion issue – Spaceflight Now

File (Aug. 6, 2024) — Northrop Grumman’s Cygnus cargo craft, with its prominent cymbal-shaped UltraFlex solar arrays, is pictured awaiting its capture by the Canadarm2 robotic arm commanded by Expedition 71 Flight Engineer Matthew Dominick of NASA. The maneuver marked the 50th free-flying capture for the Canadarm2 robotic arm. Image: NASA Northrop Grumman’s new Cygnus XL spacecraft will no longer dock with the International Space Station Wednesday morning as originally planned. In a blog post Tuesday evening, NASA announced that two, orbit-raising burns of the spacecraft’s main engine “stopped earlier than planned.” The agency didn’t state how much of the planned burns were able to be performed prior to the premature shutdowns. NASA also didn’t indicate what may have caused the engine to n...
