Last year Fanhome launched a new line of die-cast Star Trek starship models focusing on the new Paramount+ series. Now they are branching out, with a new line of ship models previously made by Eaglemoss. The first two are will be available at New York Comic Con, which kicks off in exactly one week, on October 9. Fanhome is also bringing special Prodigy guests to NYCC to sign Voyager-A models. A new Magic: The Gathering x Star Trek set was today announced by Wizards of the Coast at MagicCon in Atlanta. The Trek version, one of several new licensed sets announced for the collectible trading card game, should be available to start playing sometime in November 2026. Just weeks after launching the new Star Trek: Voyager mini-series, IDW has yet another title, touted to be their new flagship Star Trek comic with a “thrilling new mission the likes of which comics have never seen before.” Set during the era of The Burn, Star Trek: The Last Starship will  bring Captain James T. Kirk back from the dead “just in time for him to watch the Starfleet he loved so dearly burn to the ground.” The new ongoing series is being written by the Eisner-nominated duo of Collin Kelly and Jackson Lanzing with art by Adrián Bonilla and colors by Heather Moore. TOMY’s ongoing crowdfunding campaign for the D7 Klingon Battlecruiser from Star Trek The Original Series is in its final hours. We have an update from the TOMY team, plus a cool video tour of the prototype. The campaign has reduced its funding target and appears to be closing in on its new $1.4 million goal.
