Fanhome Bringing Back 20 Eaglemoss XL Star Trek Models; First Ships Launch At NYCC – TrekMovie.com

Last year Fanhome launched a new line of die-cast Star Trek starship models focusing on the new Paramount+ series. Now they are branching out, with a new line of ship models previously made by Eaglemoss. The first two are will be available at New York Comic Con, which kicks off in exactly one week, on October 9. Fanhome is also bringing special Prodigy guests to NYCC to sign Voyager-A models.

Back by popular demand…

Fanhome has announced they are bringing back “fan favorite models back due to popular demand.” These are brand new die-cast ship models being made by Fanhome, based on models previously released by Eaglemoss before that company went bankrupt in 2022. These ships are not part of the regular ongoing Star Trek Starships Die Cast Collection subscription, and will be sold on an individual basis only.

The new line of rereleases includes 20 XL size ships (between 11-12 inches in length), some of which have not been seen in years. The first two releases are…

U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 (Star Trek: The Original Series)

U.S.S. Cerritos NCC-75567 (Star Trek: Lower Decks)

Like all Fanhome starships, the new models are constructed with a combination of die-cast metal and high-quality ABS resin, and are based on the original visual effects models that were used to produce the shows. Each ship also comes with a 16-page magazine that profiles its history and role in the Star Trek universe and explores the design process with exclusive art and insightful interviews with the production team.

Additional ships from this new series of XL ships will be announced next week during NYCC. Both the Enterprise and Cerritos will be available to buy at a special show price of $85 at New York Comic Con (booth #1301). Quantities at the show will be very limited. Both will be available to purchase online starting on October 15th at fanhome.com.

Prodigy creators and cast at NYCC

And Fanhome has more big plans for their booth, bringing in Star Trek: Prodigy creators Dan and Kevin Hageman and actors Brett Gray and Bonnie Gordon for a special New York Comic Con appearance.

The special guests are celebrating the Fanhome model of the U.S.S. Voyager NCC-74656-A from Star Trek: Prodigy, which will be sold at the show at the special price of $55, with “very limited” quantities. Fans will have an opportunity to have the ship signed by the special Prodigy guests appearing at the Fanhome booth.

Also available at the booth will be the limited-edition gold-plated Enterprise NCC-1701-G Constitution III Class from Star Trek: Picard, previously released to subscribers only on Star Trek Day. Only 599 ships have been made and quantities at the NYCC will be “extremely limited,” and Fanhome says the ship model “will never go on sale again.” The price at the show is $350.
