STLV 2026 Convention Celebrating Star Trek’s 60th Anniversary Is Close To Selling Out Early – TrekMovie.com

The 2026 STLV Trek To Vegas convention celebrating the 60th anniversary of the franchise was one of our most anticipated events for the year. However, time is running out if you want to attend the convention, which runs from Wednesday, August 5 through Sunday, August 9 at the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Creation is now warning that they are approaching an early sellout for the event.

STLV 2026 is selling out fast

Our last update on STLV 2026 from October noted that Creation Entertainment was predicting the convention could sell out, like STLV 2016 which celebrated the 50th anniversary. On Friday Creation sent out an “URGENT” email, warning it appears they will indeed sell out before the convention, and they will “most likely” not be offering single-day tickets. Creation suggests: “If you plan to attend and haven’t gotten your seat yet, now’s the time to grab tickets TODAY! There will be no discounts or special offers for admission passes for ST:LV this year.”

As of Saturday morning there are less than 200 General Admission Passes (for all 5 days) available, priced at $349. Some of the higher tier packages which include better seating in addition to some more perks and add-ons can still be had, but there are only a few dozen Captain’s Chair ($769) and Copper ($459) packages available. The highest tier Gold packages have already sold out. For more on tickets CLICK HERE.

Also, rooms at the Rio are “nearly selling out” with very limited rooms available in both towers, with Creation warning what’s left will only be available “for a short time.” Creation has also arranged a block of rooms at The Gold Coast Hotel, across the street from the Rio. STLV is August 1-5, 2018 at the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas

Guests for TOS and Enterprise anniversaries, and more

Since our October update many new guests and events have been added for STLV 2026. In addition to William Shatner, Walter Koenig, George Takei and more TOS guest stars, we are now seeing the addition of celebrities there to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Star Trek: Enterprise. Already announced are Anthony Montgomery, Connor Trinneer, Dominic Keating, John Billingsley, and Linda Park. At the 2025 event, Scott Bakula did say he expected to return for the anniversary this year. Hopefully they can entice Jolene Blalock to return, but she hasn’t attended STLV in over a decade.

They are also building up their roster from other Star Trek shows and movies, including:

  • KELVIN STARS: Bruce Greenwood, Jennifer Morrison
  • TNG: Brent Spiner, Gates McFadden, Jonathan Frakes
  • DS9: Cirroc Lofton, Nicole de Boer
  • VOYAGER: Robert Picardo (also ACADEMY)
  • DISCOVERY: Anthony Rapp, Mary Chieffo
  • PICARD: Michelle Hurd, Terry Matalas (Showrunner)
  • LOWER DECKS: Noel Wells, Tawny Newsome (writer on ACADEMY)

And the Inglorious Treksperts once again are building a whole weekend of programming for their “Treksperts Stage,” including another one of their famed celebrity-packed staged readings of classic sci-fi. Once you get your ticket and room sorted out, it could also be a smart idea to reserve your photo ops and tickets with the celebrities you want. You can CLICK HERE to reserve.

TrekMovie will be there. We will once again co-host a “Landing Party” event for the Tuesday night before the convention kicks off. We will also be doing some panels, including our annual “Star Trek Status Report.” TrekMovie editors will also be appearing on panels on the Treksperts Stage and potentially moderating some panels on the main stage as well. During and after the event you can expect our usual extensive coverage.
