Welcome to the NVO Interest Group mailing list.  Your name is on this 
list either because you signed up with us at a recent conference, or 
because you have indicated interest in the VO in the past through 
applying for one of our summer schools or research programs. We extend a 
special welcome to those of you who joined us at the AAS conference in 
Austin, and we hope you will find the NVO to be beneficial to your 
research and educational activities.
 
This list will be used for occasional announcements (of events and 
software releases, for example) and newsletters related to the Virtual 
Observatory.  We hope this mailing list will also cultivate discussion 
and collaboration among users of VO tools and services and the technical 
team that is providing them.
